Romans 12:1"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies, a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."
Whenever I present a message like the following, there is always someone who will write to me saying, "That wasn't very gentle." Before anyone does that, I would like to describe an alarm clock we have in our house.
When the preset time has arrived, the alarm will sound, gently at first. If you do not turn off the alarm or hit the snooze button, the alarm gets louder to get your attention if necessary. If sleepyhead still ignores the alarm, the clock shoves a disgruntled rooster in your ear. The alarm clock has a job to do. It will do what is necessary to get that job done. Most of the time, a gently nudge is all it takes to arouse someone from slumber. Some people need a little more coaxing, while others have to be dragged out of bed before they get moving.
I hope this explains the volume of the alarm. If you are already awake, dressed and ready for work, have a nice day.

You have probably seen the billboards that show a celebrity with a milk mustache. The caption reads, "Got Milk?" and is meant to promote milk drinking. Wouldn't it be weird if a billboard showed a person frothing at the mouth and writhing on the floor? The caption might read, "Got demons?" and promote a church or television preacher.
There are some in the Christian community who base their entire ministry on the doctrine that a Christian can be possessed by demons. They hold seminars, write books and teach Christians how to cast demons out of themselves. Wouldn't it be nice to have a penny for every do-it-yourself exhorsism kit that has been sold in one form or another?
We will examine this practice, comparing it to scriptural examples.
