5 Attitudes of Effective Prayer

Sunday, July 17, 2005 (20:26:00)
Pastor Bruce Ball
Rolling Hills Christian Church

Our Scripture text for today is found in LUKE 1. While you are turning to it, let me tell you about a young girl who once wrote a missionary, to let him know that she was keeping him in her prayers.

Do This In Remembrance Of Me! (Part 1)

Sunday, July 10, 2005 (16:52:22)
Jesus was a practical person. He was a carpenter, after all. In fact, on many occasions, his opponents were people who had separated life from religion, retreating into a ritual world where common-sense had no value.

Wednesday, March 23, 2005 (12:09:27)
Pastor Bruce Ball
Rolling Hills Christian Church of Catoosa, Ok.

Tomb, You shall not hold Him any longer,

Faith and hope triumphantly say;
Christ will rise again on Easter Day.

WHY ME, LORD?

Pastor Bruce Ball

Catoosa, OK.

How many of us have found ourselves with burdens that affect our lives? In reality, we all have our hardships, don’t we? Have you ever wondered why God lets His children suffer such unpleasantries? Let me give you a little hint. It has to do with our huge egos that think we are the ones in charge. [/color]

What is Faith?

Friday, February 04, 2005 (06:08:15)
I read this message from time to time to remind myself of the truth it contains. Knowing what is right, doesn't miraculously make it easier to embrace. It takes work, because we have flesh to crucify everyday.

Luke 17:5-6
17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"
17:6 So the Lord replied, If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this black mulberry tree, Be pulled out by the roots and planted in the sea, and it would obey you.

A mulberry tree has an extensive root system. Pulling one out of the ground would be unthinkable. Matthew references removing a mountain.

We all know the Lord expects us to have faith (Romans 1:17). We all know we are each given a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). We all know without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6), but what is faith?
