"You don't have to go to church to be a Christian".

Friday, September 01, 2006 (15:09:11)
how many times have we heard that statement made? I know you'll expect me to decry this statement - after all, organised religion is like the theatre nowadays; it's all about "bums on seats", isn't it?

Let's look at what a church actually does, shall we? What do we actually do in a church service? What happens that can't happen elsewhere?

Let's Work It Out!

Your Mission For Today

Wednesday, August 24, 2005 (12:04:33)
"You must set apart to the Lord your God every firstborn male born to your herds and flocks. You must not work the firstborn of your bulls or shear the firstborn of your flocks. You and your household must eat them annually before the Lord your God in the place he chooses. If they have any kind of blemish—lameness, blindness, or anything else — you may not offer them as a sacrifice to the Lord your God. You may eat it in your villages, whether you are ritually impure or clean, just as you would eat a gazelle or an ibex. 15:23 However, you must not eat its blood; you must pour it out on the ground like water".
Deuteronomy 15:19-23

Many Christians believe that God heals others of all kinds of sickness and disease, but they hesitate to believe that God would heal them of anything, so they just decide to not pray for it. They have already limited God by thinking God will not heal them.

If I were to ask you to define the word “decision”, how would you do it? Exactly what is a decision? A decision is a point in time where you have to either leave something in your life the same as it always has been, or to change it to something different.
