Boy has three parents

New Zealand A two-year-old boy at the center of a tug-of-love custody battle has been given three parents in a landmark court decision -- his biological mother, her lesbian partner and their gay sperm donor. A Family Court judge in Auckland has given joint custody of the child to the lesbian couple but awarded a shared guardian agreement between the lesbian pair and two gay men who were their friends when all lived in Sydney.

Christian minister shot dead in Indonesia

A Christian minister has been shot dead in front of his wife in the Poso district of Indonesia's Central Sulawesi province.

He is the third Christian to be gunned down in the region this week.

Police say the minister, 25, was shot in the chest at his rural house, about 50 kilometres west of Poso town, when he answered a knock on his front door.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A limestone burial box, almost 2000 years old, may provide the oldest archeological record of Jesus of Nazareth, according to several experts who announced the finding Monday.


The ossuary, as the bone boxes are known, dates to 63 A.D. and has an inscription in Aramaic which translates to: "James, son of Joseph, brother of Jesus," said Andre Lemaire, an expert in ancient writing who identified the writing on the box in Jerusalem last spring.
