A Donkey's View of Christ's Birth

Monday, December 16, 2002 (07:10:00)
I remember it quite well, I do! It was a night I shall never forget. I had been pulling a cart full of straw, and I was so tired. My master hadn't even brushed me down. He had simply tied me in the stall, put some hay in front of me, and left for the night. Lazily, I ate and drank some water. Then I began to doze off, knowing I had another hard day ahead of me tomorrow.Just as I had drifted off to sleep, I was jolted awake by the creaking of the stable doors opening. Irritated, I stomped at the ground to let the intruders that they had interrupted my rest. First to enter was the fat old innkeeper, looking quite sleepy himself. Then came a gentle looking young girl along with a tall, bearded young man.

Happy Birthday, Jesus

Saturday, December 14, 2002 (10:32:10)
Two thousand years ago
You came to earth in human form.
A tiny baby born in low estate,
With your parents, just looking for someplace warm.

You grew up like any other boy
Who learned and worked and sought.
Though you started out as a carpenter,
You knew that with your life salvation would be bought.

Innocent Blood

" I don't want this baby,"
I heard the young girl say;
never giving a thought
to the price the child would pay;

Price of Revival

Friday, November 22, 2002 (06:15:00)
Millions of souls are dying
while we look the other way;
going to an eternal hell
each and every day.

We pray with our lips
instead of our heart;
Our words fall silent
before they even start.

Last Letter from a Traitor

Wednesday, November 20, 2002 (06:30:00)

This letter, written by my own hand, is to try to make it understood why I did what I did-why I betrayed the Christ. I should just forget trying to get any one to understand. Yet, perhaps one person will understand. Oh, God grant that someone will understand. Listen to me!  I actually used the word 'God' as if God would ever hear me in this, my most desperate hour. There is certainly no chance of that happening. I helped crucify the Son of God!
