A Special Invitation

Saturday, October 14, 2006 (14:56:47)
Almost one year ago, Rod sent episodes to Flight in Winter out in email to a special pilot group. He is now extending an offer for you to participate in a unique journey.

Matthew 24:20
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

What would you do if every dream became a nightmare and every nightmare came true? If every paranoid delusion became reality, what would you do? How would you handle it? How would you survive? You won’t want to miss a single episode of this exciting saga of a small group of people who band together to survive what many would consider great tribulation.

Subscribers to this exciting email list will receive at least one new episode via email every week. I guarantee that you will find this riveting saga entertaining and educational.

Flight in Winter, an email mini series. Someday, a television series.

Here is what one reader has to say about the book:

Quote:
I have greatly enjoyed reading Flight In Winter. I always would clear out my inbox when I would see the new episode in my email so I would have no distractions while reading it. I was usually glued to my seat. I had got into the habit of saving the emails with the episodes in a folder in my mail program. I checked the date of the first episode that was emailed to me. It is hard to believe that over 8 months has gone into reading this awesome saga. I have laughed, cried, shook my head and found myself thanking God for something that happened. For me it was easy to get lost in the world of this book. I look forward to future projects. Thank you for your time and talents. - JP

The saga will begin soon and the list will be closed. Tell your friends! They'll be glad you did.

Share the Promise

Share the Promise

Fred puckered his lips, turned his face skyward and inhaled. Taking a deep breath, he watched wild-eyed as the rainbow came closer and disappeared. Thhhht! He spat out a bit of cloud, which quickly floated away like a child running home, then clenched his teeth, barring the escape of his captive rainbow. He had special plans for this one.

You haven't said a word all day. Is everything okay?" asked Sergeant Alan Simms, the only surviving officer in the area. Fred shrugged his shoulders, smiled and nodded. "Alright, then wipe that smile off your face. We're in deep stuff here and you're making me nervous!" "We gave them a run for their money but there's just too many of them." A moment later, enemy fire stirred little dancing dust clouds around their feet and they dove into their fox hole for protection. A large explosion obliterated the last dilapidated building in their remote outpost and they pulled their helmets down to protect their faces from the rocks, dirt and bits of burning wood that rained upon them.

How Can I Help You?

Sunday, March 26, 2006 (15:11:05)
The man sat behind the counter waiting for the people. It was Monday, and Monday was always the slowest day. The ball he'd been making out of elastic bands had grown considerably bigger since opening time, and he rolled it from side to side to relieve the boredom. Coffee! Perhaps coffee would help. But he'd only just finished the last one.

"Ah well, perhaps somebody'll turn up soon", he whispered.

Flight in Winter

Matthew 24:20
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Everything happened so fast that even those who thought they were prepared were taken by surprise. Some thought it was the end of the world. Others, the Great Tribulation. Most had no time to think, to react, to get away.

Flight in Winter is the story of one family's journey through perilous times. Join them as they leverage their strengths and overcome their haunting weaknesses. See how long their love, faith and hope can last when stretched beyond their limits?

In this life, some will endure the unimaginable, but for how long?

You won't want to miss a single episode of this exciting saga of a small group of people who band together to survive what many would consider great tribulation.  Subscribers will receive a new episode via email every week.

Not only do I guarantee you be entertained, but you might actually learn something in the process.

The Abyss

Friday, December 16, 2005 (01:37:25)
The voices echoed in the darkness. Tiny, distant cries. Just occasionally, you could hear one rise slightly higher than all the others, and be able to hear it clearly. Sharp, piercing needs. Vengeful impotence. Unsatisfied longings. Appetites turned to dust.
