Imagine more than 45 thousand people paying to go through a haunted house in which teensare depicted falling into hell by choosing drugs, suicide, abortion orhomesexual activity. Now imagine this haunted house being held in achurch. The event, called Hell House has run every year since 1995.In a church? In God's house?

Reverand Keenan Roberts started the haunted house project in 1995. The event, called Hell House, has run every year since then, until now. Roberts has started a new church in the Denver suburbs and is currently looking for a new location for Hell House. The reverand has sold the script package to over 500 churches in 14 countries at a cost of $200.

The Colorado AIDS Project and the Council of Churches has called this event intolerant and judgemental. I can possibly understand why the Colorado AIDS Project would call the event judgemental, based on its content and their agenda, but why would the Council of Churches criticize the event?

God's house is holy. Is it right to sell admission to events held in the sanctuary?

Does this verse apply?
Matthew 21:13 ...It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
