The Appleseed Project - Icy Point

Thursday, January 13, 2005 (15:36:51)
Attention Writers (That means everyone) We can count the seeds in an apple, but only God can count the apples in a seed. In this series, we present apples in the form of pictures and word images. Beginning with a limited number of determinable points of inspiration (seeds) in our presentation we will see a harvest of unique presentations written by our visitors. People receive different inspiration from the same picture. Take a moment of your time to participate in the exciting Appleseed Project. Click on the Read More link to see a larger version of the photo and instructions on how to participate in this exciting spiritual project.

This is the view outside our window at 8:38AM, the morning after an ice storm passed through our area. We call this area of our property The Point. A herd of deer passes from the trees on the right to those on the left every evening as the sun is setting. You are facing southeast. The ground and trees are covered with a layer of ice from the storm.

Right click on the picture and download it to your computer. Study the picture and write down the message that comes to your heart from the Lord. Submit your message to appleseed@gentle.org. We will add it to those sent in by others and post them on our site. We guarantee you will receive a blessing. In return, you will pass that blessing on to others.

Your message may be in the form of a creative writing, devotional or sermon. It may be as simple as a caption to the picture. There is no required length of the message you can submit.

What inspiration do you receive when you view this picture? Submit your creative writing, sermon or devotional to appleseed@gentle.org. Remember to mention the title of the picture when you write to us. The title for your writing will probably be different.

We will regularly present inspirational pictures and word images and encourage our visitors to submit the results of their inspiration.
