MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AP) -- A 56-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of shooting his lawn mower because it wouldn't start. He told police: "I can do that, it's my lawn mower and my yard so I
can shoot it if I want," however, if found guilty, he could face an eleven thousand dollar fine and spend six years and three months in prison.
Perhaps him being drunk and using a sawed off shotgun upset the locals.
We've all been there.
My wife frowns at me for saying, "We've all been there."
We might be watching a news broadcast on TV where someone has been arrested for [pick your favorite crime] and I will say, "We've all been there."
It is quite possible that the statute of limitations has run out and perhaps your friends don't even know some of the things you have done or maybe you think you've lived a clean, honest life, but it isn't wise to throw stones because we are all sinners. We may not be a murderer or rapist or robber or building blower-upper, but we are all sinners deserving punishment.
We are only saved by grace.
We've all been there, haven't we? Grace.
